Did your price edit
change anything else?

Compare your untouched Shopify product export with its edited copy. See the expected prices and unexpected differences before deciding what to do next.

Every variant’s ordinary Price +7%. Nothing else.

0–100 inclusive; up to 2 decimal places. Round prices to two decimals, HALF UP.

Supported scope and limits

Exact handle + option names and values establish identity; SKU is not a unique key. Changed or missing identities are differences and uncertainty. There is no fuzzy matching or store lookup.

Each product needs exactly one titled row. Title, Description, Vendor and Tags belong there; continuation blanks are supported. Option names may be inherited within the handle. Image-only rows have a handle and image fields, with other cells blank; image metadata is compared as an unordered set of records. Remote images are never loaded.

Only ordinary Price follows the entered percentage rule. Compare-at price, market prices, cost and other supported columns must remain unchanged. Unit-price calculations and linked options are unsupported. Prices need nonnegative decimals with at most two places and 12 integer digits. Other fields use exact text comparison; quoting, record order and line-ending changes alone are ignored.

Unknown/legacy headers, ambiguous records and limits prevent a clean result. At most 500 findings are shown; a cap means incomplete comparison. First 200 price rows appear here; the text report includes every compared price row. Unsupported inputs should stop this experiment, not trigger bespoke cleanup.

Privacy and the sample files

All file reading and comparison happen in this page. No uploads, analytics, network requests, external libraries or AI calls. Files stay unchanged and are forgotten when cleared or the page closes. Report export is plain text with escaped source strings, not a spreadsheet.

The package contains six fictional before/after pairs and explicit expected outcomes. Open README.md for instructions. Native export compatibility beyond this format and merchant usability remain unverified.
